Field Day Exercise

Field Day is a multi-purpose annual event.  It provides amateurs with an opportunity to set up an emergency communications station in the field and run the station for a continuous 24-hour period.  The idea is to simulate emergency conditions as much as possible

Key Benefits

• Allow amateur radio operators to set up an emergency field communications station
• Promote awareness of amateur radio
• Sharpen the skills of emergency operators
